Marloes van den Eeckhout is described as a driven and tenacious attorney with a hands-on approach.

Marloes advises and assists (international) employers in the context of all aspects of employment law and in particular on:

  • (individual and collective) dismissals;
  • The legal status of (statutory) directors;
  • participation;
  • corporate employment law, such as reorganizations and due diligence investigations in mergers and acquisitions;
  • transgressive behavior in the workplace (including sexual harassment and discrimination);
  • Various labor law issues in the semi-public sector (including issues concerning the Top Income Support Act);
  • Marloes also litigates regularly, including dismissals and breach of relationship and non-competition clauses.

Marloes studied at the University of Amsterdam. She also gained international experience during an Erasmus exchange program in the United Kingdom. Marloes completed the postgraduate specialist course Grotius Employment Law in 2015.

Marloes regularly publishes and lectures on various employment law topics. Marloes is a member of Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland (VAAN), the international labor law association AIJA and participates in an education co-determination body.

Marloes has registered the following area of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

  • Labor Law.

Pursuant to this registration, she is required to obtain ten training points in this area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
