In the context of our services, we, Adnani & van den Eeckhout Advocaten B.V., (hereinafter: we), process personal data. Our contact details are included at the bottom of this Privacy Statement.
We believe it is important to handle this data with care. In this Privacy Statement we explain what personal data we collect, how we do this, how long we keep it, with whom we share it and what your rights in this regard are. Adnani & Van den Eeckhout Advocaten B.V. is the data controller (as referred to in the General Data Protection Regulation) with respect to the personal data it processes. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Statement and will always post the most recent version of this Privacy Statement on our website. This Privacy Statement was last updated in June 2025.
Personal data
Among other things, we process (personal) data of (potential) clients, such as contact and identification data (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number), of visitors to our website (IP address, data about your visit to our website), and of job applicants (personal data that you provide us for the purpose of a job application). We also process any other personal data relating to you that you provide to us or that we are able to obtain. This includes client bank details and data in client documentation, such as employment relationships, information on pay slips, financial data, etc.
We process this personal data because you have provided it to us. For example, when entering into an agreement with us, by entering your data on our website, by giving us your business card or by applying for a job. We may also obtain your personal data from other sources, such as from other lawyers, counterparties, the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce or by using public sources.
Purposes and bases
We may process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide our legal services;
- To fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations;
- For our internal (personnel) administration;
- For marketing and business development activities, such as newsletters, invitations to our events and other marketing communications that may be of interest to you;

Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: you can request to see the data we process about you.
- Right to rectification, erasure and supplementation: you have the right to supplement, correct, delete or block your personal data whenever you want.
- Right to data portability: you have the right to request all your personal data from the Controller and transfer it in its entirety to another Controller.
- Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data. We comply with this unless there are legitimate reasons for processing.
If you believe that we are not handling your personal data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority.
